Admission
Application form along with prospectus for admission into +2 Commerce can be had from respective school offices (DAV Public School- Unit-8, Chandrasekharpur & Pokhariput) on all working days from 25.05.2011 to 17.06.2011 on payment of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only. A candidate can also apply by downloading the application form from our website and attaching a draft worth Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred) only in favour of respective Principal of D.A.V. Public School payble at Bhubaneswar.
FEE STRUCTURE OF DAVPUBLIC SCHOOL UNIT-8
FEE STRUCTURE
- The school fee covers 12 calendar months, which may be paid in monthly installments. No reduction is made for holidays or broken periods. Pupils are liable to be charged full fee as long as their names are officially on the rolls. Fee can be enhanced every year according to the inflation rates on the decision of the Managing Committee. Ordinarily there shall be a hike of about 15% to 20% every year as per D.A.V. C.M.C rules.
- Last date for collection of the fee is LAST WORKING DAY of the month.
- For arrears of first 99/- no late fee will be charged. Beyond Rs. 99/- for every Rs.100 or part of there of Rs. 5/- will be collected as late fee for every defaulting month cumulatively.
- All dues for the students of class VIII to XII should be cleared by 15Th of February failing which the child will not be allowed to appear at the Annual / Board Examination and Assessment Test.
- Dues for the students of other classes should be cleared by 15Th of March failing which the result will be withheld.
- Parents are requested to insist for a receipt of payment and keep it safely for the whole session.
- In case a child, after paying the whole year's fee in advance leaves the school before the completion of the session, he or she may claim for the pro rata return of the Tuition fee only.
- Monthly and Session fee printed in the Chalan Book will be supplied on the date of publication of Annual Result.
Parents may remit the school dues of 1 year in one installment or before the last working day of April to avail a concession of 5% on Tuition fee only.

` Vidyalaya converted into a two shift school from the academic year 2005. Additional 22 class rooms were constructed in the year 2007. Multimedia & Web Technology, Fashion Technology, Entrepreneurship were introduced in Senior Secondary level (+2) classes in year 2006-07. Bio-Technology was introduced and lab was constructed and occupied in year 2007-08. A vocational stream of Financial Market Management (FMM) was introduced in +2 level for the year 2007-08. Physical and Health Education is introduced this year, i.e., in year 2009-10. Computer Science and Information Practices are two optional subjects available for +2 level students. Gradual year wise expansion in classes and sections leading to present status : 1967-68 : Vidyalaya started with classes I to VIII (one section each); 1969-70 : 1st batch of class-X students appeared board exam. ; Additional 22 class rooms were constructed in the year 2007. Details of previous and new campus : Previous campus : at Unit-I High School (now it is Unit-I Boy's High School) New Campus: 4.5 Acres- large campus -beautiful building, spacious class rooms with adequate and suitable furniture and fittings, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Junior Science Lab) and computer labs ,adequate toilet facility, safe drinking water, good assembly hall, play fields (football, basket ball, volley ball ) cycle-sheds, canteen. Additional 22 rooms were constructed and used in year 2007, to increase the number of classrooms, labs etc. |
